I spend a lot of time during the summer months camping as far from civilization as I can get, and to get to most of these places, I have to drive over some pretty terrible roads. Flat tires do happen, and without being prepared to fix the issue myself, life can get pretty difficult pretty fast!
When I saw this heavy duty tire plug kit, it looked like a great upgrade to my worn out and pretty flimsy tire repair kit.
The kit arrived in a really awesome zippered storage bag, and includes everything needed to repair your basic tire puncture situation (except for compressed air!). The quality of the individual components is very good- much better than what I've been using for the last 30 years! Luckily, I have not had a flat tire since I received this kit, so I can't give any real-world usage feedback, but it should work just awesome.
Overall, for the currently advertised price of $24.99, I think this kit is a good deal, considering how heavy duty and comprehensive the kit is. Just buy it!
New product solution for me
I really like the design of this because it seems to mix the typical plug style and inner tire repair. This is cool because it has the durability of an internal repair, but it also has the plug that fills the gap on some tires with a fairly good sized chunk missing. I used this to repair a lawnmower tire that than been punctured with a good size piece of wire. Plugs just weren't filling the space well and sealing. This did the trick sealing inside.
Worked well on radial car tire.
Worked well on radial car tire. Used these to patch a nail hole in my wife's radial tire. I have a tire machine so it was easy, If you don't it can be a big pain to break the bead of the tire. I removed the wheel and tire from the vehicle, broke the bead and removed the tire from the wheel, reamed out the hole, buffed the inside of the tire, put vulkenizer glue on the inside of the tire and patch, put it through the hole from the inside of the tire and pulled it through with pliers then used a sticher to flatten and seal the patch,. finally I cut off the metal piece and re mounted the tire.. It sealed very well and don't expect to have any problems with it. This isn't really a DIY process but with the right equipment they seem to work well. But I have only used 1 so far, but I expect the rest will work just as well. Good value for 24 of them under $20.

Such a lovely Flat Tire Repair Kit, must have in the car item! Comes in a nice pouch, very small, but versatile repair kit, has everything you are going to need to keep moving in case of getting tire emergency.

We used these to repair a tube type tire on a tractor. The patches are larger than typical. This helps in the repair. Will buy more.
They work really good
They are durable and longlasting. They will cover just about all small puncture. Once the tire surface is properly cleaned, the patch installs effortlessy.
1. Locate the leak: Use soapy water to find the leak.
2. Expand the hole: Use a probe tool to expand the puncture hole (3-4mm).
3. Apply glue: Apply vulcanized glue on the sealing strip.
4. Insert: Use sunsoul tire repair tool to insert the sealing strip into the hole, leaving 2-3mm outside and cut it off.
5. Inflate: Inflate to the standard tire pressure and test the air tightness.
When operated correctly, the effect of tire strips can last for weeks to months, but even if there is no leak, the tire should be removed within 1 month and professionally repaired.
Exposed sealing strips or excessive glue will cause imbalance, and dynamic balancing is required. After repair, a low-speed driving test is required, and abnormal shaking requires repair.
