Assessment & Preparation (Steps 1–3)

  • Step 1: Locate and use Crayon to mark all damage on the inside and outside of the tire.
  • Step 2: Pull out the nail with the Nail Removal Tool. Use the Knurled probe through the hole. Inspect the injury use Power-Awl tool.
  • Step 3: If the angle of the injury channel is over 35 degrees, A two-piece repair system can be used. Drill the injury channel using a low speed buffer 1800 rpm from the inside-out repeat 2-3 times.

Sizing & Channel Cementing (Steps 4–6)

  • Step 4: Pull the stem into place, leaving 1/8″ (3mm) above the inner liner. Mark the area according to the size of the patch on the inside. The marked area should be larger than the patch.
  • Step 5: Remove poly film from the stem plug. Apply Rubber Cement PRO- to the tapered portion.
  • Step 6: Apply Rubber Cement PRO- to the prepared injury using knurled probe in a clockwise direction. Repeat 2-3 times.

Cleaning & Buffing (Steps 7–9)

  • Step 7: Apply Pre-buff cleaner. Scrape away contaminants while the pre-Buff still wet. Repeat process 2-3 times.
  • Step 8: Lightly buff the repair area using a low-speed buffer (<5000 RPM) with a clean buffing rasp. 18 to 36 grit. Use a low-speed wire brush buffer (<5000 RPM). Remove buffing dust and debris from the buffed area.
  • Step 9: Use an air vacuum to thoroughly remove any scraps and residue. Apply Rubber Cement PRO- to the buffed surface. Allow to dry 3-5minutes. Allow additional drying time in cold or humid conditions.

Patch Application & Rolling (Steps 10–12)

  • Step 10: Remove the poly film from the back of the repair Exposing only the middle portion of the repair. Center the repair over the injury. Press down the center with your thumb.
  • Step 11: Remove the poly film from the under cap.
  • Step 12: Stitch repair unit down from the center out. Continue stitching toward the edges of the repair till press completely.

Sealing & Finishing (Steps 13–14)

  • Step 13: Remove clear poly from the repair. Use Inner Liner Sealer to Seal the edges of the repair unit and the over buffed area.
  • Step 14: With the stem relaxed, cut off the excess 1/8″ (3mm) above the tread surface. The tire is ready to be returned to service.
